Formerly known as 40 Savile Row, our store is part of a third-generation family business that has been creating luxury clothing since 1938. Located in the heart of Mayfair — just a short walk from Savile Row — our space reflects the character of the area, surrounded by galleries, tailoring houses and the quieter pace of its side streets. Inside, the atmosphere is calm, welcoming and designed to help you focus on creating your ideal garment.

You’re welcome to visit at any time, but we do recommend booking an appointment (and they're needed for fittings) so we can offer the dedicated, one-to-one attention that our bespoke and made-to-measure services require.

The Bespoke Custom Made Experience: From First Conversation to Final Fitting

If you’ve never visited a bespoke tailor before, you might wonder what actually happens during the process. Here’s your step-by-step guide to how our bespoke service works.

1. Introduction & Consultation

Your journey begins with a sit-down conversation. We’ll talk about:

·                  Your tastes

·                  Lifestyle

·                  Upcoming events or work needs

·                  Preferred materials or styles

This is your moment to tell us everything. With decades of experience, we’ll answer your questions and guide you toward the perfect design.

2. Designing Your Garment

Next, the creative fun begins.

You will:

·                  Browse thousands of fabrics

·                  Choose your cloth;

·                  Select lapel shapes, pockets, buttons, lining, monogramming, thread colour etc

·                  Refine the silhouette

Every choice is yours, and we’re there to ensure it all comes together seamlessly.

3. Measurements

Precise measurements are taken, along with notes on:

  • Build
  • Stance
  • Posture
  • Shoulder balance
  • Personal nuances of movement
  • Injuries

These details allow us to construct your individual master pattern.

4. Your First Fitting

You’ll return for a fitting where your garment begins to take shape. This is where magic meets craftsmanship. When you try it on, you’ll instantly feel the difference between standard tailoring and true bespoke work.

Our Savile Row tailors make precise adjustments to fine-tune the fit.

5. Final Fitting & Perfection Check

Once the garment returns from our tailors, you’ll come in for your final fitting. We check every detail, ensuring the piece is flawless and built to last.

Then comes the best moment: you take it home knowing it was crafted entirely for you.
